The 2009 "Friday the 13th" movie is a re-imagining of the classic horror franchise. It follows Clay Miller as he searches for his missing sister, Whitney, who disappeared with her friends during a camping trip near the infamous Camp Crystal Lake. Clay encounters a group of college students partying at a nearby cabin and discovers that his sister is being held captive by Jason Voorhees, the legendary killer who haunts the lake. The film combines elements of the original movie with new lore, depicting Jason as a lean, quick, and menacing figure with a machete, who stalks and kills those who venture into his territory.
